Glass desks make a big statement in any modern workspace. Their elegant design brings style and sophistication into any corporate setting, combining with contemporary decor for a truly executive feel. Our glass office desk collection includes toughened or tempered glass options in a wide variety of desktop sizes for exceptional durability and scratch resistance. It’s a professional upgrade, but it isn’t just about looks – the transparent design of a glass desk lets natural light pass through to make smaller offices appear brighter and more spacious.
Here at Office Furniture Online, we stock glass desks for all types of workplace. Find a desk with glass top designs suitable anywhere from the workplace and manager’s office to the reception and conference room. If you need a home office glass desk for hybrid or remote work, we also offer small desks to save space. With a desktop depth of just 600mm, a small glass desk can be tucked into narrow areas without imposing on your room.
Want to make a small or dark workspace appear more spacious? Much like our white desks, a glass office desk excels at using natural light to make a room feel more open and airy. The transparent glass top lets light pass through to make spaces appear fresh and uncluttered. Upgrade to an office glass desk now to start enjoying the benefits in your room.
How do you clean a glass desk? Glass desks are incredibly easy to keep clean. Glass desktops are non-porous so won’t absorb spills. Simply use a dry microfibre cloth to wipe away any dust, or a cloth with glass cleaner to deal with any stubborn marks or fingerprints. Do glass desks break easily? No. A toughened or tempered glass desk is designed to offer exceptional strength. It’s up to four times more durable than standard glass and is highly resistant to scratches. If the worst does happen, glass desktops are designed to break into small blunt pieces to reduce the risk of injury. How much weight can a glass desk hold? The load capacity of a glass desk depends on the type of glass and its thickness. A standard glass office desk usually has a thickness of 10mm and can support weights of around 40-80kg. Before loading your desk, always check the user manual for weight specifications.
