Vepa is a Dutch family business committed to the sustainable and local production of office furniture. Founded in 1951, Vepa operates a 60,000m² factory in the Netherlands where all products are manufactured entirely in-house. Vepa’s elaborate designs focus on circular production and innovative reuse, from office chairs and tables to storage pedestals and accessories. They source materials in remarkable ways – for example, using post-consumer plastics to create durable components like the Finn Chair’s seat and backrest, made from at least 95% recycled polypropylene.

Sustainable Chair Design

The seat and back are crafted from 100% recycled PET, often sourced from post-consumer plastic bottles, while the frame is made from upcycled nylon, giving new life to discarded materials. Even the PET felt used is Oeko-Tex certified, ensuring it meets strict standards for health and sustainability.
