Lacquer

Lacquer is a type of varnish surface finishing agent. The final finish may be gloss or matte.   Lacquer is applied in thin layers, from where the solvent base evaporates quickly. Cumulatively, they form a hard-wearing, durable finish, so makes wood furniture or wood flooring, for instance, last longer.

Lacquer formulas are extremely diverse and have differences in characteristics and uses.   It is more durable than shellac, is waterproof and resistant to chemical stain.
