From the beginning of your home office project you need to think about the design and functionality of your home office.  Will you be facing the door or window?  Are there power points for your laptop and PC? Do you have somewhere to put your PC?  Is this going to be a quiet corner?  Will there be enough light? • How big should your office desk space be?
• What is the best design of office chair that you find most comfortable to work in?
• Can you reach all your power and telephone points where you have positioned your office desk?
• Are there enough shelves and filing cabinets for your paperwork?
• Is your office suitably separate from the rest of your home?
