Based on the levels of enquiries about possible office relocation projects, Offiocebroker.com has claimed that Birmingham, Luton, Edinburgh, Cambridge and Manchester are the top five destinations for small businesses in the UK.

Small businesses currently account for over half of the UK's private sector employment. That's approximately £1,653 billion and many of these businesses are looking to relocate during the economic downturn.

Birmingham, with  30 per cent wanting city centre space topped the list at 33 per cent of enquiries, while businesses looking to move to Manchester 50 per cent were looking for city centre premises.
