Choosing the right office furniture can be a bigger challenge than you think. You can set your home office up with an office desk and chair and still feel that it isn’t right, because motivation is the key to your efficiency an office space that feels wrong is not what you should settle for. There are such a number of even minor factors with your home office that could interrupt your motivation and it is important to get this right.
Try not to cut too many corners by purchasing discounted office furniture that is compromised too much in quality. Make sure you are buying the office furniture you want and not just a price you are happy to settle for.
The office chair is your driver’s seat and is in my opinion one of the most important of the necessities to get right. A good supportive office chair with foam back which reclines is what you need to avoid strain to your neck, wrists and back and it will mean you can sit for longer lengths of time getting more done.
The best type of office desk to go for is the biggest you can get for the size of your home office. You don’t want your home office to be cluttered or too tight for floor space; however, you can never get enough office desk space. Having large office desk space will help you to stay organised with all the paperwork you have and means less lost paperwork!!
Bookshelves are a great place to keep reference materials clearly visible above your office desk and also a great place to keep accessories. Having your own non work related pictures or ornament here and there helps to give your work space that personal touch.
Just make sure your filing cabinets are not too obstructive of either space or vision but big enough to file your papers in to find easily!
Follow these home office guidelines are you won’t go wrong
