Most people who I ask that don’t work from home tell me that working from home doesn’t exist.  They state they are far more motivated at their office desk sat firmly in their office block.

Most people do not realize that they can move a workable office desk to their own homes and still achieve the same if not more and all that they need to be is motivated enough to really want it.

Motivation comes in consideration of all the huge benefits of being control of your own time. The best way to ensure you motivate yourself at home is to fit into all the categories below:

1)    You really want to work at home badly enough and not just to give more of your time socially but because you would appreciate the peace and calm of an office desk situation within your own home.
2)    You obviously need a job that will give you the flexibility to work from home, (without needing particularly to be in an outside office to manage other staff.) If you can prove your motivation whilst working at home and you can justify your role meets its criteria in doing so you have a good case for bringing your office desk into play on a long term basis from your home.
3)    If you are worried about distractions at home, just remember that if you don’t make sure you are in your office chair by 9am it will be you that suffers financially.
