Sometimes when the management are away and the office pet‘s away on holiday, you have hit your targets and want to celebrate, sometimes you might celebrate with a dose of Office Furniture Olympics.
Office Furniture Olympics
Office chairs with wheels are necessary, one chair per two co-workers.
Think of the ‘old style’ TV show Opportunity Knocks contests. Use an office chair with a high back with one contestant sat on the chair and the other contestant at the back of the chair ready to push. Line the two office chair and colleagues up at the starting point and the fastest to reach the end post is the winner. Use cardboard boxes to the sides of the track to cushion contestants.
If you decide to play Office Furniture Olympics then you need to be aware of the safety precautions.
Only use flat surfaces for pushing the office chairs because an uneven surface will mean that the wheels will stick and your co-worker will end up face down. A carpeted area should be used – it cushions the possible fall of anybody whilst slowing the chairs down to a speed that won’t see your co-worker catapulted out of the office window.
