Office Desks The Perfect Height

There are already directives in place by Health and Safety that suggest that some offices provide adjustable office desk heights for their prospective employees.

There are 4 different types of height adjustable offices desks produced by manufacturers:

The telescopic frame office desk, which is the cheapest alternative adjustable for tall or small office staff (the height can only be altered during the assembly of this office desk) but it does help employers meet the requirement of their responsibilities in the Disabilities Discrimination Act.

The mechanical top lift office desk, that accommodates both standing and sitting working heights, these are adjustable at any time after assembly and are a good idea if the desk is shared by several people.  These office desks are great for people working in a design environment because you can angle the desk when drawing.

The electric motor office desk, this is good for constant height adjustment throughout the day and for people who are wheelchair users. This option is the most expensive of all the adjustable office desk options, but of course is the most flexible.

The aforementioned options are automatically built into the factory design, however, the final option enables you to adjust a current office desk and means that if you substitute an existing office desk frame for hydraulic telescopic tubular legs the height can be adjusted anywhere from 65cm to ten centimeters higher by the user.

Many manufacturers supply the tubular office desk legs for very reasonable prices.

In many European countries adjustable height office desks have become the industry standard and over the next 10 years it is expected that this current  alternative in the UK will follow suit, this means that adjustable office desks will become more reasonably priced in the future.
