Guest Office Chairs

Guest office chairs are a part of the office that not many people give much consideration to, but they are important. Even if you have a small office, if you get guests or people in the office stopping by to speak with you or ask questions, you should have an office chair available for them to sit on.

The types of office chairs you get for your office will vary depending on style and the decorations in the office. You may already have a set design that your company provides, so you don’t have a say in what type of office chairs go in your office. If you do have a choice, try finding ones that are comfortable and inviting. Darker colours are common for guest office chairs, mostly because they tend to go with everything. The idea is not to draw attention to guest office chairs but just to have them accent the office furniture that is already there.

Your job will also help determine what type of guest office chair you pick out.  E.g. some companies want a more intimidating feeling in their office, maybe a lawyer that frequently negotiates with opposing counsel in person. There are some "mind-games" people like to play with those types of meetings. To be intimidating and give off confidence, choose guest office chairs that place the visitor just a few inches below you, it is a tested theory in the business world.

Professionals that regularly host clients in their office want to choose office chairs that are comfortable and inviting that give the client a feeling of confidence . These are often the guest office chairs that are made of leather or hand carved wood.  If your job is to be making money for a client, such as stock broker or agent, the more expensive looking the office chair the better. If you can afford expensive office furniture, you obviously do fairly well for yourself and thus do well for your clients.
