Most people will experience bad days or even bad weeks at work and there can be the odd number of mornings where you are looking forward to another day in your office chair at work. Most of us will continue through and work till this time passes.
However, if you find yourself living for every weekend, dreading every day at your office desk and not able to sleep at night then the job you do may not be right for you and it could be time to move.
Look around yourself; are you in the same old office chair sat at the same old office desk without being promoted? Is every day the same and you seem to be going nowhere at work?
If you are going to be spending at least 8 hours a day at your office desk (which is roughly the same time we spend sleeping), Monday – Friday, then you need to be doing a job that does not affect your health or your mental wellbeing.
So if your office desk is still doubling as a storage area after all this time or your computer desk seems to be progressively closer to the stationery cabinet then it could be a large hint that perhaps it is not just you that is feeling unhappy with being at the office.
