It has been said that the world is a stage, largely because others judge us by how we look speak and act. Your office is just a small facet of this world but the fact is that people will judge you and your business by appearances. If your office is cold, overcrowded or just plain dull then you can bet your life that visitors will use that as a reflection of you and your business, just as they would take the opposite view of bright office with cheery staff.

Take a look around your office and try to see it as your visitor might. Are there papers and files stacked on the floor or piled high on desks? Do your staff look happily occupied or do they keep watching the clock? If you take note of these things then outsiders certainly will. When people don’t really know you or your business they will judge you by first impressions, if they feel that your staff look miserable and the office leads a lot to be desired then this will affect your business. If you want clients and other business acquaintances to view you and your staff as professional then the first thing you have to do is to get everything looking the part.
