One day you’re a company manager and the next you are a business executive. There’s not a lot of difference in the actual carrying out of the two roles but there is in the perception. People get quite taken in by titles, especially when the person has all the things that go with it. Once you become an executive then you may wish to change the look of your manager’s office to reflect that of your new role.

There is plenty of executive office furniture around so you are bound to find something that is suitable for the size of your office. As a general rule executive desks are larger than other office desks, they’re usually made from an expensive wood and have a high quality finish. If you use a computer you may prefer a separate desk for it or may be replace it for a laptop. Most executive offices also include a sofa for visitors or for when the executive is working late. One of the most important items of office furniture is the executive office chair, large and imposing your chair will usually be made of soft but supportive leather that defines your status.
