When people are happy and comfortable in their working environment whether it be from having a comfortable office chair or from having a good relationship with their co-workers and a healthy respect for their boss, then these are the conditions that will bring out the best in everyone.

Providing comfortable office furniture that is correctly spaced between each member of staff is the right way to go.

You need an environment where people can interact from their office chairs but not be too cramped in the space.

Use the office space you have to inspire your employees. Also try to make the best use of natural light around the office desk space area, as this is the heart of your office. The reception area with a flat screen TV and sofas is attractive to both staff and visitors.

A kitchen is also a huge benefit for employees. Keep fruit in the kitchen for your staff and encourage them not to sit huddled at their office desks at break times but instead interact with other staff in the staff canteen.

Use colours that inspire calmness around the office desk space. Blues are good for this.
If your office is right for such a style, consider freestanding filing cabinets and shelving.
