Having a laptop will open up a new world to you and will work on any flat, stable surface. A laptop doesn’t need an office desktop and with wireless and Bluetooth communication we can now speak to people on the other side of the world or access important information at the touch of a button.
Working Nation were asked to carry out a survey on behalf of Vodafone and it revealed that many of its employees do find their personal performance improved when they work at home. 59% of employers were said to have found that their staff were more creative when they were free of the office chair and in a remote location.
Parents have found mobile technology to be a godsend as it helps them to jump more easily between the office desk and the cot without missing too much.
Camilla Cochrand, T-Mobile’s Blackberry marketing manager said:
"For working mothers, a lot of the difficulty they have is being able to grab those minutes between meetings and the office desk, or on their way to or from work, and make the most of them. A device like the Blackberry is so handy for that because you don't have to be anywhere in particular to use it. Working mums feel more in control as they know they've got it covered."
