There are lots of reasons why you may want to move your office furniture around to accommodate an office party. It could be for a retirement, a big birthday, the boss’s engagement - in fact anything.

The first thing you need to do is clear some space, so stack the office chairs to the side and move the office desks or, if possible, stack them together.

Once you have a central space you could even use several basic office desks pushed together for a buffet or to put presents on.

If you are in charge, keep any alcohol firmly stashed away under an office desk. Not many people need encouragement when it comes to relaxing and having a drink and there are always the odd one or two that will drink way too much and forget that they have to drive home because they brought their car in that morning.
