Many of us sit at our computer desks for most of the day from Monday to Friday and therefore it is hardly a surprise to find that we can become prone to backache and eyestrain.
Many of us are too busy to think about practicing good posture, and are often found staring at a laptop screen from our office chair.
It is now common place to experience aches and RSI related injuries in our working office environment.
If you ignore any aches and pains then it is a possibility that they will turn into far more serious long term injuries later in life. Some people may even experience walking problems.
Most employers these days are aware of the issues surrounding a person’s health and office furniture and will ensure they purchase ergonomic furniture items in the knowledge that they are decreasing the chances of staff sickness.
Office furniture accessory items like monitor shields to relieve eye strain are one of the more commonly used items seen in the office environment.
We have only recently begun to understand the problems associated with RSI but we still do not know the full implication of the last decades increased RSI symptoms.
