Communication is a crucial element of any business and is key to ensuring the company remains efficient.

It is common for most companies to finalise a very large, new customer contract and provide final communication in the boardroom. Communication with the customer is often initiated at these stages within the boardroom, sat around an office desk with key decision makers present. At this stage, communication will need to be crystal clear.  For a new customer contract and indeed any contract, there will be a number of procedures and people responsible for supplying the service down a chain of command.

It is being able to communicate your operations efficiently at the outset that means clear communications throughout the whole client/customer experience.

The new customer will need to have a clear understanding of the roles of the people involved.

It is essential that when you are holding a meeting of this nature that every person sat around the office desk is an effective communicator.

On an internal level, especially when there are muddled communications in the office, it is common for office politics to creep in, especially in offices or departments where employees are closely sat together at office desks. This type of behaviour can sometimes handicap businesses.
