As a treat every now and again, and to show your employee’s you care, corporate snacks are a great little incentive for the workforce. Some would say that the corporate snacks provided will say much about the image of the business.

If you are attending a job interview then look out for tell tale snack signs so you can gauge the social detail to visitors that is adopted by your future employer. Take the opportunity during your interview to look for any remnants of a recent business meeting:  cutlery, cups of tea or plates with nibbles on the office desks in front of you to see how the staff and customers are being treated.
A boss who is a puritan will always provide paper doily plates with rich tea fingers on small plates on office desks in meeting rooms.  It is likely that this company will be traditional, serious, thorough and loyal. To fit in with the corporate style you will probably need to wear grey or navy suits.

In a company where you find foil wrapped biscuits on meeting desks then be aware that you are within the status conscious company. This means you will need to name drop unashamedly. Designer carrier bags and handbags along with designer shoes will be seen under the office desk and hanging from office chairs at any given opportunity.
