Get productive

Are you working from home but finding that it could be going better because your productivity, stress and organisation levels are poor?

You have to separate your work and home space: It must not feel like home in the place you work or it will spill over in every aspect of your working life. You should work in a separate room, but if you have not got that privilege and you have to use the kitchen table as your office desk then de-clutter every aspect of home life from the surrounding area.

Work and home times need clearly defining and the family needs to be made clear of this.  They need to respect you during your working hours in the office because you can only do this with their cooperation.

Keep your office desk tidy and clear of clutter. Get the right items; flat screen monitor, ergonomic office chair, large office desks with plenty of space etc.

Time management is tough when you work from home and sometimes it can be hard to get motivated.
