Finding the Money for a Move

When moving to larger premises because business is increasing and the company is growing, this is great news; however, financing this move is not always easy. Firstly, you should do is to enlist the help of the company accountant to find out the amount of money there is to spare. Once known you can begin to plan exactly how you are going to spend it. Try to conserve at least some of what you have, in the present financial circumstances it makes sense to hold on to as much as you can. Business might be booming now but who knows what may happen six months down the line.

Take a good look around the new premises and see what, if anything, needs refurbishing. If you are lucky then the basic necessities will be fine and a new office design will brighten the whole place up. Take as much of your existing office furniture with you, if it is not leased, and only buy what is absolutely necessary. When companies are expanding they often get themselves a reception area as this gives them an added air of professionalism. All you need is an area with a reception desk, a couple of easy chairs and a low table.
