Ergonomics is the future

Most of us these days , especially those of us who have office jobs will spend potentially up to eight hours a day sat in an office chair at a desk.  Now we have moved into an era of complete computerisation we have also yet to see the full impact of work strain injuries that this new generation of workers will endure.  Ergonomics has become the buzz word with office furniture items and these days you would be wise to consider ergonomics when choosing your furniture to ensure you do not suffer from back, eye, shoulder and wrist strain.

Most of us don’t use good posture naturally because we are unaware of the impact and importance it has to our health and physical wellbeing.

Many employers these days are now acutely aware of the importance of ergonomics and have put certain health and safety aspects into place for their workers based around this.
Savvy employers realise that an uncomfortable office chair will make their staff less productive and more likely to skip work due to aches and pains.

In recent years there have been a growing number of employees who have been absent due to general aches and pains including headaches because of bad ergonomics.
Ergonomics is now the biggest way forward to a less painful working future.
